Not Afraid

In Isaiah 46, God was talking to Isaiah.

Remember the former things of old,

For I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is none like Me,

10

Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things that are not yet done,

Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,

And I will do all My pleasure,’

11

Indeed I have spoken it;

I will also bring it to pass.

I have purposed it;

I will also do it.

Isaiah 46:9-11

The Lord was speaking through the Prophet Isaiah to, “Remember, I am God and I declare your end from the beginning.”

Our future is a memory to God. He’s already been to what we’re going to face and made a way to victory and provision. His faithfulness and sovereignty are evident through His promises found throughout scripture – promises of provision, hope, victory, and joy.

As you look around at what is going on financially in this world, you must move from fear to faith, for in your future “fear tolerated is faith contaminated.” We know God’s economy is not dependent on, nor is it governed by, a nation’s economy. The rise or fall of the stock market does not change God’s ways and means of provision and prosperity.

We must settle in our hearts and minds, “I am not afraid of my future.”
