Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary (TBCS) is a non-profit, evangelical, and interdenominational Bible training college and Christian university. Operating under the 501(c)(3) covering of H.W.C., Inc., TBCS is dedicated to equipping believers through both on-campus and off-campus theological and ministerial education.
Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Independent Colleges and Christian Universities, TBCS is authorized to confer degrees in the field of Religious Arts. Our academic offerings span Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degree programs—each designed to prepare students for purposeful, impactful ministry.
Since our founding in 1986, TBCS has grown into a globally-reaching institution based in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Our dynamic learning environment is centered on knowing God deeply and discovering your divine calling. Because when you truly know God, you gain clarity about your purpose—and from that, a passion to walk in your unique mandate is born.
Our Global Vision
Dr. Lawrence Langston, Chancellor and Founder of Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary, received a clear mandate: expand beyond Florida and bring the mission of TBCS to the world. Today, that vision is a reality.
As of 2025, TBCS serves students and partners with schools across 45 states and 51 countries. Our alumni network is as diverse as it is influential, including Presidents, Kings, Government Officials, Athletes, Educators, Artists, Entrepreneurs, and renowned Ministers—individuals who shape culture across every sphere of society.

Statement of Faith
At Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary, our beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of Scripture and the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Read our Statement of Faith below.
The Word of God
We believe in the Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God. The Holy Scriptures are the revelation of His mind and will to man. The Bible is our infallible, all-sufficient guide for salvation and for the Christian life.
God
We believe in one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is true God and true man, begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a perfect and sinless human life.
Humanity and the Fall
We believe in the depravity of the nature of man through his fall in the Garden of Eden, and in the absolute inability of man to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works.
The Finished Work of Christ
We believe in the finished work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. Through His sacrifice, Christ has accomplished complete and eternal redemption.
The maturing of the believer is the unveiling of His finished work. God set His approval on Christ’s work by raising Him from the dead and enthroning Him at His own right hand in Heaven.

We believe in the literal return of Christ to this earth for His Church, to establish His Kingdom.
Our Position
TBCS is a non-denominational institution. We are committed to providing a Bible-based education without denominational bias.
Accreditation
Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary is accredited through Transworld Accrediting Commission International.
Transworld Accrediting Commission is an international, non-governmental, educational accrediting body, federally recognized as a non-profit church organization. Transworld accredits and assists Theological Schools, Seminaries, Universities, Colleges and Programs throughout the world.
At Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary, we are proud to stand alongside our peers in affirming the importance of non-governmental accreditation for churches and Christian institutions. We understand that governmentally recognized and accredited organizations can be subject to external pressure which may not necessarily reflect their own values or beliefs. That is why at TBCS, we have chosen Transworld Accrediting Commission as our Church-based body of accreditation – an association that allows us autonomy under God’s authority rather than control by any outside entity.
